I was sitting in a meeting today with 3 other women having the hardest time concentrating. Why you ask? Well, one of them (the oldest one in the group I will have you know) must have forgotten part of her clothes this morning. How embarrassing.
There are many women, maybe even some of you reading this, and need proper bra fitting help or in this womans case a daily reminder to put one on. I don't know why or when, but somewhere along the way I became the "support" friend. I have taken numerous friends bra shopping and all of them have come back thanking me for being such a "supportive friend" and amazed at the difference. Approaching a friend about this situation requires proper timing and careful approach, but as a friend it's what you have to do.
A few tips ladies:
- When buying a bra, it should fit on the last set of hooks. The other hooks are made to slowly start being used as it looses its elasticity.
- A bra works hard all day. You should not wear the same one two days in a row in order to give it time to properly reshape and keep its elasticity longer.
- If you are spilling out the top or more importantly the sides, IT DOES NOT FIT.
- ALWAYS ALWAYS wear a bra when leaving the house.
There are many more tips and I am only a phone call away if you need any help, but I must warn you, my work is best represented in person.
Your welcome.

sad news, you actually taught ME a thing or two about bras & i am one who doesn't consider myself one of "those women." i guess that means we need to go shopping the next time we get together.
If your friends ever need an extra "supportive friend" let me know and I'll come along for "moral support" of the bra fitting process.
Okay, I'm bad. I know.
Great tips :) Our friends at Vicky's can always help out as well! I don't care what people say (if they do happen to disagree) Victoria's Secret makes the best bras and it's one item I think every woman should splurge on
ok, so I am totally with you....for most of it.
I have two bits to add...
Bras should not give you "pit chubs" or "back bulges" as my friend and I used to call them. This is also signs of a bad fit and unfortunately can permanently leave these unsightly blemishes.
Personally, I think bras should make you "perky" (this is defined individually for each person) but if you are not perky-er for having put one on, you might as well not bother. This does not necessarily mean you have to look like an 18 year old "Barbie" in a tight shirt...this coming from a mom who has nursed two babies and therefore knows I will never have my "pert" 18-yr old Barbie look back no matter the bra.
Second, I have been known on occasion to leave the house withOUT a bra...and my roommates used to tease me about how I never wore one...
This being said, I still believe in the fit side of things...else why torture yourself?!?
Where are the pictures? I mean strictly for research and supportive purposes! Hope all is well Linds--I miss you--word up girl!

Sorry--signed in on my wife's account--it's me Josh!
Lindsay - Sadly your oldest sister needs a good bra fitting next time I see you. Babies ruin your boobs and therefore ruin your ability to figure out your bra size. HELP!
AMEN! i don't know how many women have trouble with this. but once you realize this, your life will change.
i have had people question if i have real boobs. they ask "how are they up and not sagging?" it's called i have a bra that fits, that supports them up and i'm still kind of young. plus, i don't have children yet. but i feel that when i do become older and children are here..my bra will fit! always! :)
