I'm trying to "get out more" and decided to officially kick off summer by attending the Summer Solstice parade in downtown Ballard. It's pretty much the most bizar parade you can think of. Anything and everything goes. It's most famous for all the naked people in and around the parade which always makes for a good time, but really it's filled of weird stuff. Take this for example:
If you click on the picture, you can better see the bird eating a naked baby. WTF? These dresses were my favorite. They are made entirely out of paper.
We had such a great time, but between the parade and the people watching it was pretty much stimulus overload.
Oh, and who does not want to end the day with an outdoor Mama Mia sing along! :)
