Daily Dilemma

Every day at work I have an ongoing dilemma with the restroom. Question, what is your criteria when selecting a stall. I ask myself this question every time and am still not sure what is the best option. Let me explain.

The closest restroom to my cube has two stalls in it. Here are the random questions I debate every day:

Stall 1
It is closest to the door, do more or less people use it?

It is really small. So small that you have to squeeze into it forcing you to touch the walls while trying not to brush against the toilet. Then when you finally get the door closed and are able to sit down, your knees touch the door. Does this mean more or less people use the stall?

This makes for a very unpleasant experience, but is it the less dirty stall?

Stall 2
This is the larger more comfortable stall. Is the comfort worth it?

Being the larger stall, more people use it. Is not rubbing the walls on the way in and sitting in peace worth the additional germs?

The diagram below helps you better visualize the set up. And yes, I made this in Paint. :)

I have asked a few other women in the office what their take is and everyone says something different, but we all agree neither options are ideal. What's a girl to do?

option #3: buy a toddler potty, the one with the voice recording options, and just do your biz in the privacy of your own office or cubicle or whatever. it will be like a party for the entire office everytime you go because you can record yourself screaming something like "EUREKA!" everytime you sit down. spice things up a bit. just think about it, is all i'm saying.

Shop Bathroom is your answer.

Just make sure there isn't a big group of people in the shop or they might time how long you are in the bathroom.

I can't stop laughing at this - it's so true that this is a dillema that each of us have faced! I HATE that small bathroom - SO worth the extra germs!
