Hawaii

I was a little worried because on the flight down I took one for the team and let Steph and the isle seat. Betty Jo Davis sat next to me and started the conversation telling me she wished I were a nurse because she was going to be on oxygen during the flight. Great.... even though the safety presentation said "some" seat can be used as a flotation device I knew it would no matter for Steph and I because the oxygen tanks would blow before we even hit the water. Betty Jo was quite the talker and lucky me, we figured out we were on the same flight back.

In true form, I burnt myself the first day at the beach and spend the rest of the time on the beach under an umbrella. That umbrella and I became good friends. I even fished it out of the ocean once. We did the tourist thing at Pearl Harbor, the Swap meet, Diamond Head, and the Polynesian Cultural Center...Love me some islanders.... wow!

We were still able to watch and cheer as Melinda Doolittle was voted off and catch a bit of the office. I looked for "Darma" and the survivors around every corner, but they are still Lost.

We at Matsumoto Shaved Ice just about everyday and I only threw up once.... but I think it had more to do with the Sun to Diet Coke ratio vs. Lindsay to shaved ice.

Steph and Angela took lots of great pictures while I drove around ready to pull off at any time. Angela wins the "bargain shopper" award because she is a sucker for any type of a deal.

Overall it was a great and very relaxing vacation. Even though we were 4 hours behind our normal time we slept in everyday, drank diet cokes on the beach, ate fresh seafood every night, and we all got along.

My favorite trees.

The Dole plantation.

Here we are at the PCC.

This was the beach I had to fish my umbrella out of the ocean at.

A great shot thanks to Steph.

Bringing Sexy Back....greasy beach style.

The view from the top of Diamond Head.

I also heart Hawaii! I also heart the Dole Plantation and their frozen pineapple yogurt. Nice work, too getting crispy on day one! Had you been on the Oceanic flight from Australia you would have died two days in from heat stroke. Silly rabbit, Trix really are for kids. Glad you had fun. Still my favorite honeys at the D-Mark!

That fourth picture looks like a giant piece of poo on the beach/shallow water.
