Hollywood is Calling

Today when I came into work, I was asked to do a voice over for a phone campaign. I was quite surprised they asked me because I feel like I sound 12 and talk too fast. They gave me the script and I was a little nervous. I had to say Swedish Massage about 10 times. You try saying it 10 times fast and see how it comes out.

I sat at my desk and read it quite a few times as I tried to avoide the mockery from the guys around me. Long story short, I had to run to a meeting and they ended up using someone else. Voice over is NOT one of my talents.

Later in the day, I was sent a group of TV talent to choose from for a TV spot I am helping my client produce. I was reviewing that talent when I saw a guy I went to high school with. Well, actually I went to school with his older brother and use to babysit him.

Small world. I think Hollywood is trying to tell me something. I will not make it big, but someone I know will.

Well it was almost me. I had a 1 in 1000 chance, and I blew it yesterday by not being America's Next Top Model.

My guess is on our favorite hot thang from work--she's probably in at least a few Girls Gone WIld DVDs.

There is big money in voice over. Don't give up on it yet!
