Why do people not understand that some things are “personal” and should be done in the privacy of your own home? Every Friday and Monday, two different co-workers (both male mind you) cut their nails at work. This is disgusting. Ever time I hear the “clip” all I can see is their nail bits flying all over the office. I also know a few people (again men) that cut their nails during church….are you serious. How can I listen to the speaker and feel the spirit when all I can here is you nail clipper and I KNOW those are going all over the floor because who carried around a garbage can for their nail clippings?
How can we combat this? First, I think we need to have one voice and work on re-educating men on how hygiene works and WHERE it should be worked. For the time being, whenever I am at work and can hear someone clipping their nails I say as loud as possible “Is someone really clipping their nails? That’s disgusting. Go do it in the bathroom.” I am yet to find a patch solution for the church nail clipper. Any suggestions?

Sit next to them and pluck your eyebrows???
I agree, the madness must be stopped.
I must admit I'm guilty of sometimes clipping at work. But I try and do it "quietly" under my desk so no one can hear. It's kind of a game I play. Can I get a way with it without anyone seeing (I'm in a cude) or hearing. Yes, I agree it's a little disgusting but it's kind of fun too?
Maybe I'll come visit you at work sometime :)
Jared - knowing is half the battle!
Carlee - I like it. I will try it this week.
